How we chose the London venues on this guide
Clear rules so readers can see why four properties appear and why many well-known London casinos do not.
This site is an independent, unofficial guide. It is not affiliated with any hotel or casino listed.
What counts as a casino hotel here
- A currently trading hotel in London.
- A licensed casino on the premises, in the same building complex, or immediately adjoining with a published guest connection (lobby access, complimentary entry listed by the hotel, or shared address terrace).
- Verification from the venue’s own materials plus at least one independent current source, and a Gambling Commission premises record where available.
Hotels that merely sit near an unrelated casino fail the test. Closed, rebranded or demolished properties are excluded.
Why London yields four entries, not five
The capital has a dense casino market—Hippodrome, Empire, Victoria, Chinatown venues, members’ clubs and more—but most are not attached to a hotel stay. Inventing a fifth pairing would mislead travellers. We publish four and say so plainly.
Ordering basis
Entries are ordered by how tightly the casino integrates with the hotel, then by the breadth of hotel facilities described on official sites. That sequence is editorial. It is not an official ranking and nobody has paid for position.
What we refuse to invent
Room rates, availability, awards, table or machine counts, exact opening hours, menus, membership terms and unverified licence numbers are omitted or stated only in general terms. When sources disagree, we drop the disputed figure.
The short version
Qualify only with a real hotel–casino link. Order by integration. Prefer fewer honest entries over a padded list.
